1. Summarize the movie so far in your own words.
Akeelah is a girl who seldom go to school because she feels isolated in the class. However, she gets 100 points in the vocabulary test. It is because that she likes to play spelling games when she in her leisure time. As a result, her teacher suggests she participate in the spelling bee. At first, she refused because she think her classmate will laugh at her. Nevertheless, she participated and won first place. After that, she has to find the professor to be her coach to help her win the region's spelling bee. However, they had a fight. Luckily, she still get the qualification to go to Washington,DC. In order to win the championship in Washington, DC, she go to ask the professor for help again.

Akeelah is a smart girl who can remember lots of words which I think is quite difficult for me. However, due to the region she lives and the interaction between classmates, she is afraid of standing on the stage and be a competitor of the spelling bee. Nevertheless, she has a nice brother who encourages her to do that. As a result, she participated in the spelling bee. Moreover, I think she will be the champion in Washington, DC.

Buffet
Yesterday, my family and I want to eat buffet at Regent Taipei. As usual, I always search on line to see the article that talk about the restaurant by the bloggers. When I saw the articles, I thought that our afternoon tea buffet might be perfect because we have a lot of choice of food and a beautiful view outside the restaurant. However, I was not impressed by the restaurant at all. First, there were so many people. The restaurant didn't have enough food. Moreover, the restaurant want to earn money so they received many guests reservation. As a result, I have to wait in line whenever I want to take some food. Second, the food was not as good as those bloggers' photo show. It doesn't mean the food in the buffet were bad. It was just my own preference. After this awful experience, I think I would rather go to the restaurants that offer delicacy than buffet recently. After all, a good atmosphere during the meal is the most important thing.

Banana Chocolate Tart
The dessert I made this week was banana chocolate tart. Banana and chocolate are the best combination for a dessert. We can see many restaurants use chocolate and banana to make various desserts and of course, it attract customers interest. Without exception, I am a big fan of the desserts combined with banana and chocolate. However, those desserts sold at the restaurants are tend to be too expensive plus I have tried to save money recently. As a result, I decided to make a banana chocolate tart by myself.
The procedure of making a banana chocolate tart was so simple because I bought a tart at the baking materials shop. I think it is a smart way because as the one who seldom make dessert, the tart I made might not be as delicious as those sold outside. Hence, after baked the tart, I just have to cover it with banana and pour the chocolate mixture into it and put it into the refrigerator. I was so excited to eat the tart in the next morning. The tart is crispy and little salty to balance the sweetness of chocolate and banana. The stuffing is milk chocolate, which is my favorite favor. Moreover, the flavor of banana mix with the chocolate so well, even bring these to sweetness to a different level. I even ate three pieces in a day. I think I might gain weight by doing these desserts. However, it doesn't beat my interest in making desserts.

Cook at Home
My favorite thing in my leisure time is to watch famous chefs' cooking video on their YouTube channels, search recipes on the Internet. As a result, I always want to cook by myself. Of course, I can cook my own lunch and even cook for my dad. However, I want to cook some cuisine that is plated beautifully and can be served in the restaurants. Moreover, I want to bake some dessert. Indeed, I am the person only talk and no to act.
Surprisingly, this spring break, my mom took me to buy all the materials that I need. At the time I walked into the store that sells all the baking materials, I felt I was in the heaven. My mom was pretty generous that day that she let me buy all the stuffs I want.
As soon as I got home, I started to make pannacotta, which I wanted to make for a long time. As a pannacotta lover, I always try to find the one is not to sweet and its texture has to be my favorite condition. After several simple steps, I put my pannacotta into the frig. I was quite nervous when I was going to eat it. Whereas, my worry turned out to be unnecessary. The pannacotta was so delicious that I ate two of them as my breakfast.
The third day of my spring break, I made Portuguese egg tart with my mom. Again, I was worried about the taste because I was afraid it didn't taste like those sold at the bakeries. Nonetheless, the Portuguese egg tarts we made were so tasty. The tart was crispy and the stuffing was moisture. I ate to tarts as my dinner.
It was quite a good spring break that I studied and did something that I wanted to do for a long time.

Paragragh
Surprisingly, the innovation of technology sometimes is not a good phenomenon. Nowadays, people tend to overwork due to the mobile network. That is, the employer can ask us to do more work because he knows that we can get his messages anytime, anywhere. As a result, we have to work even when we are off duty or on a vacation. Hence, people feel more stressful and less happier. Moreover, the convenience of the Internet makes people more isolated. Press '' Like '' on a statement or a picture in our friends' Facebook seems to be a way to show our concern recently, but research show those who post in Facebook frequently in face are empty inside. It is a such a pathetic phenomenon that we are satisfied with the unreal attention of having a heart-to-heart chat.

My Weird Friend
I have a friend who is very very weird. Let me tell you how wired she is.
1. She likes to say HI to everyone at anytime.
For example, our classmates walked through her because he or she wanted to go to restroom, my weird friend would say hi with enthusiasm to them. Everyone might think say hi to a person once is enough; however, she won't stop no matter she had already say hi to you many times. As long as she sees you, she will always greet you happily.
2. As a girl, she doesn't like sweet dessert AT ALL.
Instead of those sweet food, she like to eat sour fruit such as lemon, orange,and kiwi. Every time I send a picture of delicious dessert, she always answers me " It looks so~~~~~sweet!!! ". As a sweet lover, it is frustrated to me hearing the answer.
3. She likes to name things.
At the first time she told me that she named her cell phone, I felt strange. So far, she named her cell phone Golden because her IPhone is gold. And she named her laptop Edwin (but this one has no reason to be named as Edwin). Recently, she named my cell phone Minna Minna Minna, abbreviation as Triple Minna.
Although I listed those weird thing of my friend, it doesn't mean that I don't like her. The truth is that she is my best friend in my class. She also suggested me write this topic. Other than those weird thing, she is a very very good friend. I can tell her what' on my mind, which always makes me relieve. In addition, we love to enjoy delicious food together; after all, there are various choices in the restaurants. Thanks to my best friend, she makes my life colorful and filled with joy every day.

Juicy Bun
I went to Juicy Bun for dinner with my friend this Thursday. That was a really fun night. Of course, the meal there were delicious and I really enjoyed it. I ordered '' Johnny's sandwich'', which is a sandwich composed of New Orleans chicken and cheese. It was an amazing combination. Moreover, we talked a lot of joyful things. Actually, I seldom go to Juicy Bun because I think it is a little bit expensive for me. However, this time, our teacher assistant treated us. It might sounds weird, why did he want to buy the bill for us? The reason is also strange and complicated, too. In short, my classmates and I call our teacher assistant as our idol for fun. Nevertheless, he view our call for him quite serious. As a result, he said that he want to held a meeting for his fans before he start to prepare the exam for being a diplomat. Whereas, it is not good to have a free meal from others by no reason. Hence, my classmates and I planned to give him a cup off Starbucks coffee and a cake. We hope he will like it.
