Summer Vacation Is coming Soon

     I can't believe that summer vacation is coming!!!! It seems was yesterday that I started the new semester and began to write blogs. Time flies, I have to prepare three exams next week. Two of the three subjects take me a lot of time to study. They are accounting and economics. Both of the books are written in English. As a result, I not only have to translate those English knowledge into Chinese in my mind but also remember all the detail, definition and different calculation methods. However, I don't see those subjects as nightmare. On the contrary, I like them a lot because I think they are much easier than other subjects since half of the test is multiple choice. Luckily, I have already finished all my final reports. Now I have to go back to study accounting. I hope I can get high score in all my tests.

Desserts

     These days, I made two different dessert all by my own. The one is panna cotta, the other one is banana chocolate cake. Last Thursday, I went to a Italian restaurant which its cuisine is perfect but I wasn't satisfied with its dessert, panna cotta. I thought it didn't have enough taste of milk and the texture wasn't the one I prefer. As a result, I made my version of panna cotta. The steps of making panna cotta are easy. Hence, I just left the pot on the stove and went to use my computer in my room. I though I was able to go back to kitchen before the combination of milk and cream wouldn't boil that quick. However, when I stepped into the kitchen, I was shocked by what I saw. The milk and cream was not only boiled, but also spread all over the stove. I was so nervous about the texture of panna cotta. Thankfully, when I ate eat on the next day. It was still my favorite flavor of panna cotta.
     Since I was free, I made banana chocolate cake after I ate my breakfast today. I really like the combination of chocolate and banana. In order not to let the cake become too sweet, I change the recipe I searched on the Internet. I put more dark chocolate and skip the part of sugar. I think it was one of the easiest cake. All I need was put all the ingredients into a large bowl and stirred them until they were well combined. After the cake was baked, I cut a piece of it immediately and ate it. It was so tasty. The top of the cake was crispy, the texture was moist because of the banana and the flavor of chocolate was rich.
     The happiest thing isn't that I eat those delicious desserts. It is that I made them all by myself unlike before that my mom made the desserts with me. I am going to what to make next!
